Re: paint the black

 

Hi,

I think it's a good idea to recommend app developers to use the default
theme, but keeping their freedom to opt out and use custom coloring at
their own risk (of having wrong combinations between the app colors and the
theme in use by the device).

It would be interesting for the user to have a way to influence the design
of what's shown in the screen. We could have states like:
standby_display_on, standby_display_low_pwr and standby_display_off.

Then the user can select (and may be layout) the information to show in the
different "states".
