As a native German speaker I need to say that on any X11 driven
environment it is fácil (easy) to select one Meta-key, for example the useless
so called Windows-key, and with this key held down you just type
naeio... to get the Spanish tilded chars
ñáéíó¿¡ÑÁÉÍÓ
This is just like using the Shift key to get capital letters.
