He seems to be implying that Ubuntu would be more popular if it were
more like all the other guys... ;/
As a past office mate used to say, "patches are welcome". That's one of
the best things about Ubuntu - it's open source. How about making a
scope that does what you want?
Personally, I don't want widgets on the homescreen. Been there. Done
that - Nokia N900.
Transparent apps might be cool, but they make it difficult to see the
content in bad lighting - outside in bright sunshine.
