This is probably of interest only to a very small number of people on
this list, but this evening I have accidentally discovered that the
Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition's USB seems to work really well with Windows
10 on a Surface Pro 3.

This was a completely accidental discovery, as I plugged my MX4 into
this laptop to charge its battery. This isn't my primary laptop,
just one which I am using purely for Windows builds which I need to do
as part of my work. But the media drive just popped up and worked
a treat.
Just another interesting data-point! This same device has never
really worked at all when connecting to my MacBook Air.
I will be retiring the MX4 imminently anyway, because I have just
taken delivery of an MX5 Pro :-)

Hey Tony, yes I did:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1565675
Please let me know if you need additional logs. Happy to help with
testing.

Yes, my MX4's USB port died completely. But no, all the issues I am
seeing with MTP are happening with krillin devices.
