 As Andrea correctly notes, this will eventually become available as
part of the Skeyer transition; this has been on the back burner a bit
recently as other tasks have taken priority but it's work that I hope
to get back to in the near future.

 Not officially yet, we still need to figure out the best mechanism for
providing third party keyboards in a secure and convenient way.

 Unofficially it is possible to use other maliit based keyboards on the
phone if you install them manually (some minor patching may also be
required to make them play nicely with Mir at present as well), but
this isn't really recommended.
