Re: USB Tethering of Meizu Pro 5 Ubuntu Edition

Hi,

I'm using mako and I had to edit (once) the /usr/bin/tethering script to
use the right interface name. After doing that it provides the network
bridge when rndis is activated.

Since you are not getting errors, you shouldnt need to edit the script.

BTW, I have used this from my pc/16.04, laptop/16.04, worklaptop/win7 with
my mako running either stable or rc-proposed 15.04 touch.

Try activating the rndis driver after the tethering script. In my case
theres immediate feedback on network manager in the pc.

I suspect theres some cinflicting setting in your pc or its a device
specific issue on the Pro 5.

Have you tried the wifi hotspot approach?

Best Regards,
Felipe.
