Did you follow the steps in the description?

Note that if you edit both at the same time while the app is connected, it will indeed overwrite the server's edit (just like the server will overwrite the client's note if that one comes to save last).

A conflict situation only arises if you edit in offline mode, save the note, and later connect to the server and sync it.
