Do you hace access to QML objects in worker scripts? didn't know that
(at least you couldn't do that on Symbian)

Hi,

you might want to offload the db commits to a WorkerScript:

http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.0/qtqml/qml-qtquick2-workerscript.html

As Dalius pointed out before it is the speed of the C in ACID
that is hampering the performance.
