Hi all,

While reviewing the current status of the calendar app (nice job, btw!), 
I noticed that the packaging information (debian/ folder) could be 
improved in many ways. I’ve submitted a merge request [1] that addresses 
all the issues I could spot, but then I’ve realized that other 
applications (calculator and weather, among others) suffer from the 
exact same issue. It appears that they are based on the same template, 
so I think it would be beneficial to all future apps to apply those 
enhancements to the template itself. The question is: where does the 
code for this template live?
