Message #00440
[Fwd: Re: 11.04 (Natty) release cycle starting - please open Launchpad translations.]
Hi all,
I meant to forward this some days ago.
Natty translations have been opened without any incidences.
The imports queue is open, but the UI is still closed.
Regards,
David.
P.S. Sorry about the closed wiki link. It contains mostly boring
internal info on how to do the opening itself. We've been talking with
Jeroen about putting part of that info somewhere public, but as it is
not something I consider very important, I've put it on my TODO list as
"later" :)

This has now been done. I don't think it's ever gone quite so smoothly.
We document the process and history of Ubuntu translation openings here:
https://wiki.canonical.com/Launchpad/Translations/UbuntuOpenings
There's not much on Natty's import queue yet. We recommend letting a
full set of translations cycle through the import queue at least once
before opening the translation UI to avoid duplicate efforts.
