Message #00439
Natty language pack schedule
Hi all,
I've updated the language pack schedule for exports from Launchpad and
package builds in preparation for Natty.
https://dev.launchpad.net/Translations/LanguagePackSchedule
The proposed changes are marked in bold.
Not much to see here. I've kept the old procedure of maintaining updates
for 3 releases (development, stable, old stable) and 2 exports a week
for development.
I've moved the last export in the week for the development version to be
on a Thursday, so that it coincides with the LanguagePackDeadline
milestone (so far always on the RC Thursday) and we don't have to
request additional manual exports as in the last couple of releases.
Unless you see anything that needs changing:
* LP Translations team: could you please update the language pack
export crontab according to the schedule, get a LOSA to approve
it and notify Martin when it's done? - Note: following the
practice of the past releases, the Natty exports can be left
disabled until after Alpha-1
* Martin: could you please update the language pack build crontab
according to the schedule once the LP Translations team has
notified you? - Note: following the practice of the past
releases, the Natty builds can be left disabled until after
Alpha-1
Thanks!
Regards,
David.
