Hey all,

As discussed at UDS, and following up on the feedback that everyone
found them useful, I'd like to kick off the sustainable translations
calls with the Translations Coordinators.

I'm conscious that last cycle I did not keep up with posting the notes.
This cycle I'd like to improve this and start reusing the old
translations meetings wiki pages [1] to keep public track of the
discussions.

If you've got any agenda items for the next call, please feel free to
add them to:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/Meetings/Next

Regarding the time of the call, I was thinking of:

* Starting this Thursday
* Biweekly calls (or would you like to do them weekly?)
* Time: either 12:00 UTC or 16:00 UTC (I'm open to more suggestions)

Please let me know what you think.

Cheers,
David

I just got a round to looking at the invite to these meetings. 2
questions. It seems that it is now 1700 UTC in stead of 1600 UTC and
always on thursdays. This means that I won't be able to participate at
all untill next summer. Was there no other way to do that, a time that
fist everyone better or the option to rotate between days?

I thought you'd said that the latter the better for you on your last
reply, but I'm happy to change the day or the time if it means more of
us can make it.

What works best for you?

I think it was Gabor that said that. My schedule is a bit messed up as a I have scheduled evening event on 3 weekdays. What I can do is:
Mon and tue: 1600 UTC
Wed: anytime in 1600 UTC + 7 hours
Thu: No go

But we could also rotate days, to make it easier for everyone to attend at some time.

I saw that it was supposed to be skype. I never got any feedback on what
the problem was with the G+ functionality. Quite frankly with Skypes
Linux track record (sound support) I would rather not use that
particular binary blob of sloppy.

Then you'll be happy to hear that we started using G+ on the last call :)

Nice.

Cheers,
David.
