And I just saw your other bug #951054. This really appears to just be a
subset of that other bug regarding translation strings, so I'm marking
this as a duplicate of that one.

Title:
"System Testing" message in the splash screen needs to be translatable
Status in Checkbox System Testing:
Invalid
Status in Ubuntu Translations:
New
Status in “checkbox” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
I reported this a while back as bug 621880, which was fixed. At some
point in a redesign, it seems to have appeared again.
When loading checkbox, the first screen the user sees shows an image
with the Ubuntu logo and the "System Testing" text.
I believe that particular text appears as a bitmap on the image and it
is thus not translatable. Such text means nothing to non-English
speakers.
Please consider either removing it or showing it in a way that it is
translatable. Thanks!
