[Bug 889966] Re: Incorrect units for file size in Nautilus

 

@fitoschido: I use Nautilus 3.2.1 (with Unity). My LANG  is es_AR.UTF-8. 
For example (see my screen capture): I create a file with 1,000,000 byte = 1 MB. Or ~ 977 KiB = 0.95 MiB. But Nautilus shows me 1.0 MiB. It must show 1.0 MB or 0.95 MiB. Not decimal size with binary units.
It seems to me that Spanish translations use binary units whichever unit Nautilus use.

Bug description:
  Nautilus shows file sizes in MB but in the spanish translation MiB is used. See attached screenshot:
  Tamaño: 728,0 MiB (728018944 bytes)
  It should read:
  Tamaño: 728,0 MB (728018944 bytes)
  as it does in english.
