[Bug 986868] Re: Biased translation in french : "traduction pour le anglais"

It's not easy because "Traduction pour le français" is correct but
"Traduction pour le anglais" is not correct.

What do you think about "Traduction pour le langage %s" or "Traduction
pour la langue « %s »" ?

Title:
Biased translation in french : "traduction pour le anglais"

Status in Ubuntu Translations:
  Triaged

Bug description:
Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (beta2 with latest updates as of today)

  1/ ALT+F2 update-manager
  2/ "Check" for new updates
  3/ Expand "details"

In the french version, the description "Translation for the english in the depot archive.ubuntu.com" is badly translated.
This is caused by the way the sentence is built.

What I get in french : "Traduction pour le anglais"
What I should get : "Traduction pour l'anglais"

This issue probably occurs with other languages or applications, so
people must have solved this somewhere else.
