Re: Question...

Well, I have been digging and digging for about 2 days now, and still no luck with GMA 500. I found that Mandriva ONE 2010 has direct support for it. However, I cannot get it to boot. I am using Unetbootin in Windows 7 to create the bootable USB. when i plug it in and set my bios for booting, It will boot to the unetboot screen. I hit default, it brings up the mandriva loader..and sits there. If i hit ESC and read the errors, it says it cannot find any of the files? I noticed it is trying to boot from CDROM.. however, im using USB. I tried automatic=method: usb attached to get it to boot right, but still no luck. Does anyone have a good program to make bootable usb's? I keep hearing about HP's program, but its not compatible with even XP...>_>

Any help would be appreciated. The faster i get this fixed, the faster i can say good bye to windoze!

Also, Apparently Dell has driver support for it but even their image for the Dell Mini 12 (after removing a vendor check script) does not work properly.
