[Bug 447029] [NEW] [Karmic Beta][UXA] XRender performance worse than CPU-only
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel
I realise that there are a lot of different bugs about Intel UXA
performance, but I've updated everything fully and run a series of
benchmarks.
Running the Qgears2 (gears, option 1) test of the Phoronix Test Suite:
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-2993-8553-588 (CPU - 45.51 fps)
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-5579-22146-12197 (XRender - 9.85 fps)
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-21213-23261-11439 (OpenGL - 32.71 fps)
Running the Qgears2 (Image Scaling, option 3) test of the Phoronix Test Suite:
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-3997-3911-19997 (CPU - 32.14 fps)
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-28825-27807-31852 (XRender - 25.76 fps)
http://global.phoronix-test-suite.com/?k=profile&u=aaron-14070-31173-27110 (OpenGL - 111.62 fps)
