[Bug 555853] [NEW] if i dont press ctrl+alt+f2 as soon as the bootup screen comes on, i cant access the system.

 

Public bug reported:

not sure how else to explain it... but after i press ctrl+alt+f2, then i
get the console screen and the system then boots into the GUI login
window and things seem to work fine.

this was after a fresh install of the 10.04 beta 1 64-bit iso
(downloaded yesterday) on a Dell Optiplex 330 with a GeForce 8400 GS in
it.
