Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-ati

The login screen on the internal lvds display is white and emtpy.

When switching to vt, plugging in external device and restarting gdm,
the normal login screen appears.

This happens only with an internal 1024x768 device. The same machine type (thinkpad t43/ ati x300) with an 1400x1050 display
has other effekts (i will post an other report).
