[Bug 654515] [NEW] Dual-head setup only possible with stacked screen combination
Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xorg
TRying to setup a dual-head setup, with a laptop and a flat-panel TFT.
Using the Monitor Preferences panel, I enable the TFT panel and place it
to the right of the laptop screen. If I hit apply, the screen on the
laptop shows the correct image, but the TFT panel remains black. The
screen is on, though, as I can move the mouse-cursor to the TFT panel.
The tip of the cursor keeps aligned to the left edge of the TFT panel,
though.
The only way to get a working dual-head setup is to configure the
screens in a stacked configuration, as shown in the attached screenshot.
This, however, is a nuisance.
