I have a synaptics touchpad, there is a top button for disabling it when needed, but once clicked to disable then clicked again to re-enable it, it's no more working

kernels events work fine after re-enabling the touchpad after testing them with evtest.
so I think the problem is somewhere in the synaptics X module not enable to handle this.
