Thanks. I will try this when I get home and can do it with my own wireless unit. Out of town right now.
As of now I have the proper icon on the top right (2 terminals). I was at a public internet place this AM; showed that there was a signal; bar graph showed on top; but FAILED TO CONNECT. I am on eth1 according to what I see. No signal in other choices. This all ticks me off as the computer was performing like a champ until recently. I would get many signals to pick from. Problem started before the latest security updates.
