[Question #76492]: why some files are losed when no free space left on partition?

New question #76492 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76492

why file to which php script wrote has cleared when 0 byte place left on the partition? php opens file, writes to it and closes it. how can it be deleted or zerro-sized? also gnome/nautilus bookmarks has been losed. and also terminal command history is losed on that situation. these happened several times in my ubuntu installations.
