hello i new to ubuntu. had a few questions to all. i have pentium dual core 2.26 and nvidia 9650 graphics card with 4 G of ram i am thinking to install ubuntu but i have two main question  i know that you create a swap partition but i dont know how big can i make it or does it make the computer crash if created way to big for example i am planning in using 12G to big my swap the other question is should i used 32 it is more reliable?( does crash less) that 64 bit ? if anyone can answer i be thank full. and what is more comparable with the most internet application like flash and avg etc.
