[Question #77891]: OpenPGP .... no keyring?
New question #77891 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77891
When I try to create a PGP it fails. Using pgp --gen-key produces most helpful results, and comes up with following:
gpg: no writable secret keyring found: eof
Key generation failed: eof
So, of course, I cannot generate a key for certificates, etc. Can someone help with this problem? When I open "Passwords and Encryption Keys", I have nothing under any tab except the "Passwords" tab, with contains one simple folder titled "Passwords: login".
I am using Ubuntu 9.04, updated from a live CD of 8.10.
