Re: [Question #78085]: HD not reconized by XP

Question #78085 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78085

Larry Jordan proposed the following answer:
To be complete, the ntfs writers who provided the ability for Linux
to read/write to Windows XP (even if it is in NTFS rather than FAT32)
also provided a feature that allowed windows (XP for sure) to "see" and
read Linux formats. It isn't EXTREMELY useful; it can only be done when
logged in to XP as administrator, and the file types still aren't
recognized. Nor does it give the OS freedom to actually do anything
with the Linux partition outside of the program itself. But thought it
was worthy of mention.
