Re: [Question #78256]: How do I set the main screen in a dual screen setup?
Question #78256 on xorg in ubuntu changed:

Status: Open => Answered
Larry Jordan proposed the following answer:
Believe it is in your xorg.conf file (best place to set it up). I
can't tell anything about gnome-display-properties through the gui
because I only have one monitor anyway; but it seems as though the
"primary" screen is screen 0 (zero) in the xorg.conf file. Seems as
though there would be a better way, but looks like your question is
sitting with no response - so it's a direction to go in.
