ramair is still having a problem:
Windows: The IP is actually "192.168.X.XX" without the quotes. 
OO word: Oh so I need to save it as the extension .doc rather than .odt as windows cannot recognise .odt. 

So what is the story with IP private, public, router, local networks?

Webcam:  I'm cant find a model number but it is the Creative WebCam
Live!  I tried installing from konsule Sudo aptitude camorama, but the
"easycam" cannot be found and the app camorama doesn't seem to work. I
saw it may work in GNOME but not KDE Desktop environment..
