[Question #78777]: Black screen when Ubuntu fires up on Inspiron 1100.

During Ubuntu 9.04 boot-up, I clicked yes to English then pressed Enter for trial and optional install. The screen flashes one message (too fast for me to memorize) then goes black and stays that way. I ran it fine on a Hp Presario.
