[Bug 1325623] [NEW] Youker does really funky font scale changes in Unity HiDPI mode
Public bug reported:
When HiDPI scaling is enabled in Unity, Youker Assistant always seems to
resize the fonts upon startup.
For example, with scale set to 0.875, my com.canonical.Unity.Interface
.text-scale-factor was set to 0.88. When Youker is started, the value
momentarily jumps to 0.88000000000000004, then resets to
0.69999999999999996. If closed and restarted, the value jumps to 0.5.
If the HDPI scale is set any value above 1, the font scale actually
increases when starting Youker. If HiDPI scale is turned off (set to
1), the text-scale-factor is completely unaffected by Youker.
I have a feeling that this bug may actually be located at a lower level
then Youker, as one of my desktops does random text-scale-factor resizes
upon user login when HiDPI scaling is enabled, even though Youker is not
installed. I just haven't been able to track down any consistant
factors why, and Youker triggers the bug very consistantly.
