try to reinstall ubuntuone-<your ubuntu version>-ppa.deb
E.g. If you use jaunty:
*ubuntuone-jaunty-ppa.deb.*
It solved in my case
Sorry, but now the ubuntuone site is not available, i cannot post the righ
url.
(if you are unable to find it, i can send by email: it is a very light
package)
