Nothing else happens. When I check the status with "u1sdtool -s" it says: State: READY_WITH_NETWORK_WITH_BOTHQ is_error: False is_connected: False description: ready to connect, network up, user yet to push "go", BOTHQ waiting is_online: False So, it's waiting for me to push "go", but there is no window shown allowing me to push :-) I'm using KDE 4.4, latest lucid, the packages installed are:

As the applet was removed I think the only way to connect syncdaemon using a GUI with 1.1.2-0ubuntu2, is via nautilus extension. Is anyone else having this problem? What can I do to get it running again?
So, the current options are: 1) use u1sdtool, e.g: $> u1sdtool -c2) use DBus directly, e.g: $> dbus-send --session --dest=com.ubuntuone.SyncDaemon --type=method_call / com.ubuntuone.SyncDaemon.SyncDaemon.connect
