Hi Marc,

Contacts (and Bookmarks) sync between the desktop and the Ubuntu One
cloud is disabled for now. We're updating to a new version of the
database that will be able to handle all Ubuntu One customers and it's
not a plug-and-play process... more information on this is coming soon.

Notes sync connects to Ubuntu One in a different way than Contacts so
it's not impacted by the process we're currently going through. In other
words, it should be working fine and works great for me (especially the
Tomboy auto-sych setting in the application preferences).
