This problem is about to celebrate it's zillionth anniversary soon.
It turned me into an alcoholic for a while, as you can see from my lack of

If you read the description of this bug, you will read:

*"by definition, 'click' is 'press and release', so metacity's behaviour is

As you can see this bug is ancient and major. Fixing this by making Metacity
*focus on release* would make a great improvement.
