That would be a design flaw in Rhythmbox: the process that shares music
should not be the same process that plays music and shows the player
interface.
It should be a separate service even if the interface for turning
sharing on and off is accessed from inside Rhythmbox. We have similar
cases elsewhere in Ubuntu: update-notifier vs. Update Manager, and file
sharing vs. Nautilus.
