Re: Ability to remove Spaces-Icon from launcher for my parents :)

 

This video is a good example of what you descibe (elderly person getting
confused after hitting the workspace switcher)

It was interesting that he kept going to the workspace switcher icon for
some reason, and didn't find the dash until 23 minutes in. Obviously this
isn't necessarily indicative of unity itself being particularly confusing
(This same guy is in videos using win8/osx and is just as confused)
