I think the sound indicator really needs its look/organization refined 
when you have multiple media players installed that have sound indicator 
support. It very quickly looks cluttered and confusing, as seen in the 
attached screenshot.

A suggestion for improvement:
If the player is currently not open, the controls in the indicator 
should be "minimized", so instead of showing both banshee and rhythmbox 
+ Plus their playback controls all the time, it would just show the 
title of the player if its closed. In addition, if the player is closed 
the title that shows up in the indicator could be changed from 
"Rhythmbox" to "Open Rhythmbox".
