hi all,
I am newbie to Linux testing, so kinda need help figuring out
things here.
1) In the first test case xpr-001[2]: I cannot find the xorg.conf at
this location. Is this an expected condition? Since this the main
configuration file for Xorg, can anyone else confirm this situation on
a default system?
the xorg.conf is in most cases not required anymore, so the absence is
not a problem. i installed lucid daily yesterday and i dont have one, too.
2) The workaround for detecting the recommended drivers mentioned by
benste in Bug #518067
<https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/jockey/+bug/518067> did not
work for me. please can anyone else confirm the same? Also I am not
sure how to proceed further with testing, should I just download the
latest driver form Nvidia or wait for the issue to be fixed. I know it
was disscussed on an earlier mail, but I could not grasp the suggestion.
it did not work for me either, but i have an ati card so i dont know if
that helps you out. i filled only the first testcase, but im not sure
this is the right way to do it.
