If you only look at the code changes, and exclude not only the autofoo  
files, but also the documentation, and the translation files, we're down  
to:

 10 files changed, 1412 insertions(+), 958 deletions(-)

But sure, that's still not a trivial change. My point was not that the  
change was small, but rather that it was beneficial. As you can see in  
bugzilla (and there are also unreported fixes), it fixes a fair bunch of  
issues that are present in the version you have.

But as you're deep-frozen, that's probably not good enough a reason. Is  
there any simple thing I could monitor, to be informed in advance of  
debian and ubuntu's freezes, so that I can make sure that releases that  
are almost done can get out of the door in time?
