Message #00006
user manual
I'm writing reply to yade-dev, since this discussion belongs to the
mailing list - because mailing lists have just been created, and they
will be very useful!
I'm sorry that I was silent for few weeks, I had a lot of work here with
my 2D lattice and PhD, now I'm back from two conferences. And I should
have more time.

wow, this is jaw-dropping amount of work. Please put latex sources in
doc/ directory, because I also want to participate in writing the
documentation. At least - I can correct all the english grammar
mistakes, because there are some of them ;)
But also - I have some ideas on what to write there - like full examples
of adding new EngineUnits, new kinds of models (like what I have done exactly,
with screenshots, to add FEM to yade), etc...
You can create a subdirectory, for example doc/UserManual, or doc/user-manual,
or whatever. Because all those pictures, etc.. should not mix with the
rest in doc/
