I have to support installation of yade on RHEL, for example; they have no packages there, of course. Folks in 3s use hardy mostly, which has no functional packages either, IIRC. There have always been problems with packages of qglviewer, I don't want to go back. I don't mind about those extra 2MB as long as we have no hassle.Just to note that yade has qglviewer in its source tree since a year and I am perfecly happy with that: no packaging issues and so on.Now that qglviewer is both in debian and ubuntu it is maybe time to remove it from trunk?
