Very unexpected. Perhaps the reason is a static case... 
For a dynamic case, I received a dismal results for QuickSort:
for 1k spheres, 150k iters, STLImporterTest.py:
SpatialQuickSortCollider: 19:18 s
PersistentSAPCollider:    11:46 s 

ps. I have not used SpatialQuickSortCollider after creation, 
so it may contain bugs...
