There is probably nothing to test (except performance), but I would also
prefer that you consult such big changes in advance. I think it should
be reverted (amking it useless work), anyway, unless you (Bruno) say
what is the benefit, as said in the first mail.

(Not saying that Dem3Dof is perfect, it is clearly not.)
