Also I would like to clean up yade-dev team a little bit from inactive
users.
What is the reason of this "witch hunt" ? (with a little exageration...)
For me, there is no special requirements to belong to a mailing list :
this should be allowed for every internet user, from my point of view.
Maybe the point is that these people have commit rights, and that
frightens you ? But if they are inactive, I do not see how they could
break anything...
I consider the exchanges occuring on the various mailing-lists as one
real advantage of using Yade. Even if people do not participate (or even
read all the mails...) I see it as a real opportunity to read thoughts
of other DEM users : when a subject picks up your interest you read and
can learn something. For me it would be sad that this possibility would
be more monitored, with people who are allowed to take part / read
discussions and other not.
And for Yade's interest number of mailing-lists members are good for
statistics !
