Re: 2nd Yade-DEM workshop : April, 26-27 2018

Hi,

it's great news. I want to be there with my friend Marek Krzaczek who
is also working with me on multi-phase fluid dynamics and (within
next year) on thermal processes too.

The reason why I still (after several months) didn't post about our
CFD code to yade-dev is because there was time pressure (and money)
to get the stuff working. So it starts to work now in some old yade
version that we have here. I really hate this approach: "make it work
quick", because I really prefer to put this into current yade version
with full documentation. Our current approach is so different from
current CFD in yade, that I need to implement at least something
first in current yade, to show it to you, so that we can discuss it.
Otherwise we would just spend time discussing it with no concrete
results.

However the time for me to do this is getting closer and closer.
I wish it wasn't always going slower than anticipated. This is also
due to my involvement with quantum mechanics (and soon hopefully
quantum electrodynamics too), which is very important for me too :)

Regardless of how far we will progress in this direction we plan to
present and discuss it during the yade workshop.

best regards
Janek Kozicki

PS: in few days I will get back to that CGAL 4.11 problem, which we
were debugging this month.
