Not sure of that. Critical dt is linked to elastic vibrations, not to absolute value of velocities/spins (except for high speed impacts where you don't want bodies to go through each other in 1 step).

My point was :
- If we simulate problems were clumps go from one almost-equilibrium position to another, or even flow steadily, then we can safely ignore the w'*Iw' term and use explicit equations. - If we simulate problems where some clumps rotate at high speed and where the exact trajectory matters, then this approach is wrong, even if stable numerically.
