Hello,

it is strange YADE behavior you describe. You installed YADE from package or
from source code?
I would recommend you to use the latest revision from BZR. See
https://yade-dem.org/index.php/Quick_Bazaar_tutorial
It is pretty stable.

Please, provide more information with messages, what YADE outputs after its
start.
