Thanks for your answer. I tried to use periodic boundaries because I
read that simulates better the bulk material behaviour.  Anyway, I just
want to obtain the friction angle and cohesion for a soil. Is there a
way of simulating a shear box forcing the failure in a plane like the
typical shear box test using the PeriTriaxController or  should I use
rigid boundaries?  Thank you very much.
