Re: [Question #264342]: Questions about the FlowEngine without TriaxialStressController
Question #264342 on Yade changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/264342
Bruno Chareyre proposed the following answer:
>Am I getting the concept right?
Yes. The only problem is that the only valid imposed flux is 0. :-/
Non-zero fluxes still have to be implemented and it is no really trivial (there is an infinity of micro-flux distributions leading to the same total imposed flux).
>I didn't define dynamic = True, but the results showed that the pore
pressure inside the boundary box are influenced by the hit.
Check box position to see if it actually moves. If it does not, then it could be an effect of the projectile penetrating the medium to some extent.
Also, if you did not explicitely ignored the hitting body in the flow model, it is actually an immersed impact and it is expected that the body generates some pressure.
Note that the current fluid model is inherently non-inertial, it needs
to be kept in mind if you simulate an impact.
