Hi,

As a first remark, I would be surprised a correctly defined simulation
would require both TriaxialStressController and UniaxialStrainer. Both
engines should be self-sufficient to apply the boundary conditions they
were designed for.

Also, I do not understand what you have in mind as a "uniaxial tension"
with "stress constant in one direction while increasing strain in
another direction" ? Do you mean zero lateral stress by "stress
constant" ?

The easiest way to have zero lateral stress is to introduce no lateral
displacement boundary conditions (i.e. in Yade no walls/boxes,
usually)..
